The PzF 44-2 is a 44 mm recoilless rifle used exclusively by West German military forces in ArmA 3. It was added with the release of the Global Mobilization - Cold War Germany Creator DLC.
Overview[]
- This section is a stub. You can help Armed Assault Wiki by expanding it.
The PzF 44-2 is an unguided, shoulder-fired anti-tank launcher.
It is designed to load 44 mm grenades fitted with high-explosive anti-tank (HEAT) warheads. The launcher does not feature an integrated optic and the ironsight cannot be zeroed, but it can be fitted with two types of optics: the Fero Z 2x17 telescopic day sight or the Fero Z-51 night vision scope.
Ironsights[]

Zeroing for the PzF 44-2's ironsights cannot be manually adjusted.
Munitions[]

HEAT DM32
The PzF 44-2 only supports one type of grenade round. It has a weight of 33.3333 "mass" units:
Warhead | Damage type | Base damage value | Penetration depth (mm) |
---|---|---|---|
Primary | High-Explosive Anti-Tank | 95 | 2.04 |
Secondary | High-Explosive Anti-Tank | 400 | 372.765 |
The PzF 44-2's grenades are always launched with an initial velocity of 220 m/s. It only requires 0.1 seconds of flight time to attain its maximum speed of 270 m/s.
The primary warhead has a blast radius of 3.6 metres. It is partially capable of penetrating through armour and can pierce up to ~ 2 millimetres of armour plating. Its kinetic submunition on the other hand, has a launch velocity of 1,000 m/s and a penetration depth of ~ 372 millimetres.
Trivia[]
- Following Update 1.2, the weight of its grenades was decreased and the DM32's penetration capability was significantly increased from a meagre 82 mm to ~ 372 mm.[1]
- At launch, the PzF 44-2 was limited to being fitted with only a day sight. It was given the ability to mount a night vision scope after the release of Update 1.5 (alongside the addition of the Fero Z-51 itself).[2]
- The patch also replaced the PzF 44-2's firing sound with a new one.[2]
- The information below details unused, pre-release or removed content.
Deprecated PzF 44-2 with a Tan camouflage scheme.
