The RPG-18 is a 64 mm rocket launcher used exclusively by East German military forces in ArmA 3. It was added with the release of the Global Mobilization - Cold War Germany Creator DLC.
Overview[]
- This section is a stub. You can help Armed Assault Wiki by expanding it.
The RPG-18 is a Soviet-made unguided, shoulder-fired, disposable rocket launcher.
It is exclusively pre-loaded with a single 64 mm rocket that utilises a high-explosive anti-tank (HEAT) warhead. The RPG-18 cannot be fitted with optical sights. Its flip-up sights cannot be manually adjusted, though it does have markers that can be used to accurately hit targets at distances of up to 200 metres away.
Sights[]

The RPG-18's flip-up sights do not allow for manual zeroing.

Left: Target tank is positioned exactly 200 metres away.
Right: The same location is hit three times. On the third hit, the RPG-18's grenade inflicts a catastrophic kill.
To hit targets with the RPG-18, simply align the correct red triangle on the front sight against the target at the specified range. Each red triangle (from top-to-bottom) represents targets located at distances of 50 metres, 100 metres, 150 metres, and 200 metres.
Munitions[]

HEAT PG-18
The RPG-18 is only capable of loading and firing one type of rocket. It is a disposable, single-shot weapon and cannot be reused after launch:
Warhead | Damage type | Base damage value | Penetration depth (mm) |
---|---|---|---|
Primary | High-Explosive Anti-Tank | 95 | 2.04 |
Secondary | High-Explosive Anti-Tank | 320 | 302.235 |
It is always fired with an initial velocity of 160 m/s. Its motor will ignite 0.1 seconds after launch and takes a further 0.45 seconds to attain a top in-flight speed of 212 m/s.
The rocket's primary warhead has a blast radius of 3.6 metres and is partially armour piercing, being capable of penetrating approximately ~ 2 millimetres of plating. Its kinetic submunition on the other hand, has an armour penetration depth of up to ~ 302 millimetres.
Trivia[]
- The RPG-18 was not originally available as part of Global Mobilization's launch content and was only added after the release of Update 1.5.[1]
