Raman Nanopore (alternately stylised as RAMAN-NANOPORE) is an electronics company.
Background
Raman Nanopore produces interface terminals for the Macrotech Corporation's ED-1 series of multipurpose robots. In addition to its interface, they are also responsible for the creation of the "RN-X", a state-of-the-art optical laser module which can be fitted onto the ED-1's manipulator arm.
It combines nanopore technology with Surface Enhanced Raman Spectroscopy (SERS), which can remotely analyse chemical compounds found within materials and rapidly sequence biological samples.
