The Royal Lao Army (short form: RLA) is an INDFOR faction in ArmA 3. It was added with the release of the S.O.G. Prairie Fire Creator DLC.
Overview[]
The Royal Lao Army (RLA) represents the primary land forces branch of the Royal Lao Armed Forces. To meet the threat of the Pathet Lao insurgency, the RLA is extensively backed by the United States and has covert assistance from the CIA.[1][2]

- RLA forces were not originally available upon S.O.G.'s release and were only added after Update 1.2.[3]
- The RLA do not have access to a dedicated Lao radio protocol and are simply muted in regular gameplay.
