The Straw Hat is a wearable hat used by multiple factions in ArmA 3.
Overview[]
A hat made out of straw with a soft brim and indented crown, Straw Hats are popular amongst the citizens of Tanoa and Altis, as well as with tourists travelling throughout the Mediterranean Basin.
It has a weight of 6 "mass" units.
Variants[]
Hat[]
Constructed from felt materials rather than straw, Hats are identical in all but appearance. Some guerilla fighters and arms smugglers also choose to wear the Hat on occasion.
Camouflage[]
NOTE: Straw Hats lack alternate camouflage schemes and are only available in one colour (straw) that can be either bright or dark.
- Blue: Blue checker pattern with white lines.
- Brown: Mud brown colour scheme with a dark brown checker pattern stripe.
- Camo: Woodland camouflage pattern with an olive green stripe.
- Checker: Grey grid-style pattern with a black/white diagonal stripe.
- Grey: Slate grey colour scheme with a dark grey stripe.
- Tan: Pale tan colour scheme with a dark brown/tan criss cross-patterned stripe.
Trivia[]
- Prior to the Bootcamp Update, both hat variants used the default Straw Hat icon despite being completely different aesthetically.[1]
