Also, the length of the war should be 2 months, 5 days rather than 6 in my opinion as it should count total elapsed days rather than the amount of days the conflict spanned. Following the logic of '2 months, 6 days' then World War II lasted 6 years and 2 days rather than the widely agreed upon 6 years 1 day.

Edit: To add to the last argument: If some event took place from 5th to 6th January for example then its length wouldn't be regarded as 2 days but only 1 day. The Nogova conflict is also wrong in that it says it lasted 1 month, 5 days when it should be 1 month, 4 days.

Dates

@Pedja772

There is no confusion or mixup regarding the dates. The official Armaverse timeline states that Guba's invasion occurs on May 5th. To quote from the timeline itself:

1985 / 05 / 05
General Aleksei Vasilii Guba with his loyal army forces invades the island of Everon to spark conflict between two superpowers and increase the power of Communist ideologists.

Please make sure you double check the timeline's summary before making sweeping changes like this in the future.

@Drebin052

I was admittedly not aware of the timeline so I apologize. It still makes little sense to me that the dates that are explicitly stated in the game are ignored. It leads me to the assumption that the timeline itself has errors but I can understand the decision to follow it.

I don't understand your mention of the date of the invasion's beginning as I never changed/doubted that? The first mission of Red Hammer(though it's not canon as far as I know) takes place in the early morning hours, while the 'evening' that appears in the article is never mentioned anywhere to my knowledge. If the time of day is not mentioned anywhere, then it shouldn't be mentioned in the article either. I wouldn't mind being corrected though.
