Telos (Altian: Τἐλος) is a settlement located on the island of Altis in the Republic of Altis and Stratis.
Overview[]
A small town located next to the Altis International Airport, Telos lies at the centre of a junction along the main highway. The crossroads splits off into three directions: south towards the new capital of Pyrgos, east to Rodopoli, and west towards the old capital of Kavala.
Aside from the four iconic stone windmills[1] atop the rocky hills to its north, Telos has two chapels positioned on opposite ends of town (one on the east and another to the west).
Facilities[]
Petrol station[]

A petrol station operated by the Altis-based Fuel company is located on the western limits of the town, positioned directly next to the main highway junction.
Research facility[]

- Main article: Altis International Airport#Research facility
Located on the southern side of town, this research facility is reserved for exclusive use by peacekeepers and advisors from CSAT's Iranian-led Griffin Regiment.[2][3]
Trivia[]
- Telos' real-world counterpart on the island of Lemnos, Greece, is the village of Varos.
- However, the in-game town noticeably lacks the two large hotels found in the real Varos. The research facility is also a completely fictitious addon as the area of land it occupies in reality is simply an open field.
- Prior to the overhaul of ArmA 3's main menu after the release of the Apex expansion[4], the CSAT research facility would always be prominently featured in the menu's background if the Altis terrain was loaded.
