Training is the first mission of ArmA: Cold War Assault's Cold War Crisis campaign.

Overview[]

The player controls U.S. Army infantryman Corporal David Armstrong. Armstrong and his squad members in Alpha are due to take part in a routine training exercise under the supervision of Sergeant Berghof.

Armstrong's role/class:

  • Infantry / Rifleman

Default loadout:

  • Primary weapon: M16A2 (4× magazines)
  • Secondary weapon: None
  • Equipment: None

There are no alternate pieces of equipment to choose from.

  • (1) Move to truck
  • (2) Get back
  • (3) Through the lane
  • (4) Third lane
  • (5) Get ammunition

Mandatory[]

  • Armstrong must survive
  • Do not attack base personnel
  • Remain within the training area

Walkthrough[]

Follow SGT Berghof's commands and read the instruction prompts on how to move, drive vehicles and shoot. Surely you can do that on your own...right?

Trivia[]

  • Not following orders or leaving the camp will result in an amusing game over scene where Armstrong is reprimanded and dishonourably discharged by Colonel Blake.
