The Typ 1200 is a sedan driven by West German law enforcement officers, civilians, utility services, as well as with West German and Danish military forces in ArmA 3. It was added with the release of the Global Mobilization - Cold War Germany Creator DLC.

Design
The Typ 1200 is a rear-wheel drive car powered by an air-cooled, four-cylinder engine mounted at the rear.
Features
Nicknamed the "Bug" for its distinctive rounded silhouette, the Typ 1200 has continued to remain popular ever since its entry into the automobile market in the late 1930s.
Though the Typ 1200's current generation has ceased production, and faces increased competition from more modern French, Japanese and Italian designs, the Typ 1200 is still widely driven by citizens throughout West Germany. It is even utilised by some Danish and West German military units for transportation between outposts in lieu of the Truck 0.5t tmil gl.
Mobility
The Typ 1200 features an impressive combination of speed and agility for a vehicle of its size. Compared to its East German-made counterpart, the Typ 1200 is slightly faster and can accelerate rapidly to hit a top speed of 79 km/h in just over twenty seconds. In contrast, the P601 takes just as long to reach a maximum of only 73 km/h.
However, its main advantage over the P601 lies primarily in its handling. Whereas the former turns rigidly regardless of its speed and struggles on sharp corners, the Typ 1200 faces no such difficulties and can turn smoothly with ease.
Crew Capacity
Typ 1200s support a driver and up to three additional passengers who sit in the rear and front right seat.
Variants
Baseline civilian/military variant.
Military Police variants generally have a sirenlight fitted onto the vehicle's roof whereas regular civilian models remain unmodified. They can carry up to three passengers at a time.
Exclusive to West German civilian fire brigades.
Retains an identical seating capacity to regular Typ 1200s but has a siren/loudspeaker and lightbar fitted onto the roof.Utilised by West German law enforcement officers.
Only used by West German post/telegram deliverymen.

- Olive, Mud, Medical: Flat olive green paint scheme with a Red Crystal emblem on the side doors. The entire vehicle body is caked in dried mud.
- Olive, Winter: Olive green paint covered in a snowy camouflage pattern.
- Olive, Winter, Medical: Olive green paint covered in a snowy camouflage pattern, complete with the Red Crystal emblem on the side doors.
Note that Danish military Typ 1200s have access to only the Olive and Olive, Winter schemes. West German Typ 1200s face no limitations and can freely utilise all six camouflages.
It should also be noted that the West German Olive variant is (slightly) lighter shaded while the Danish version uses a darker shade of green. This similarly applies to the Danish military's Winter scheme, which is more thickly coated in a snow camouflage compared to the West German counterpart.
Services
- Police: White paint scheme with an olive drab-coloured stripe running across bottom half of the vehicle's body. Polizei (Police) markings are written on the bonnet and doors. Exclusively used on West German law enforcement Typ 1200s.
- Fire: Bright red paint scheme with a white stripe running across the body. Feuerwehr (Fire Brigade) markings are written in the centre of the stripe. Only used by West German fire fighters.
- Federal Post: Bright yellow paint scheme. Utilised by West German Bundespost workers.
- Federal Post, Telecommunication: Bright yellow paint scheme used by West German Fernmeldedienst services.
Protection
Both military and civilian Typ 1200s have identical base armour values of 40. They cannot be fitted with addon armour modules.
The following highlighted positions serve as weak points on Typ 1200s:
Body
The vehicle body on all variants can withstand just 40 points of damage. It takes 150% increased damage from high-explosive (HE) type munitions.
Depleting the body's integrity will instantly result in a catastrophic kill.
Engine
The Typ 1200's engine (regardless of variant) can incur up to 18 points of damage before failing. No amount of damage is shared with the vehicle's main "health" pool.
If damaged: Power output halved, driving uphill becomes extremely difficult. Can no longer reach top speed even on flat terrain.
If destroyed: Instantly immobilises the Typ 1200.
Fuel tank
The fuel tanks on all variants can survive a mere 10 points of damage before rupturing. They take 50% less damage from HE-type munitions, and no amount of damage is shared with the vehicle's main "health" pool.
If damaged: Causes the fuel tank to lose up to 75% of remaining fuel.
If destroyed: All remaining fuel is rapidly lost over the course of several seconds.
Wheels
The front two wheels on any variant can survive 20 points of damage, while the rear two wheels are much more fragile and can only take a meagre 8 points of damage. However, all four wheels still take 400% increased damage from HE-type munitions.
At least 30% of damage is always shared with the vehicle's main "health" pool. Disabling one will not immobilise the Typ 1200, but will severely degrade its mobility and may prevent it from being able to drive in a straight line.
