Vikos (Altian: Βίκος) is a remote settlement located on the island of Altis in the Republic of Altis and Stratis.
Overview[]
A remote "village" in south-west region, Vikos comprises of six scattered homes and two warehouses situated at the mouth of the valley leading south towards a military outpost.
The ruins of an old castle dating back to the era of Ancient Phoenicia[1][2] is situated above the hilltop in the south-west. In recent years however, the surrounding hilltops have been turned into farms for harnessing energy from wind turbines.
Trivia[]
- The military outpost is featured as one of the drop zones for the Sling Loading showcase (added with the Helicopters DLC)[3], whilst the nearby castle ruins are similarly featured as one of the pickup sites in the Gunships showcase.[4]
