A company that was initially founded in the Soviet Union, Vloha manufactures both civilian and military vehicles. Between 1968 to 1977, Vloha's most popular product was the GAZ-24 executive car. It was notable for its durability and roadworthiness. Even in the 21st century, GAZ-24s with odometers exceeding a mileage of 1,000,000 kilometres are still being driven by owners in countries like Takistan.[3][4][5]

Trivia[]
Vloha made its debut into the Armaverse with the release of ArmA 2.
However, the company was not given an Armaverse name until the release of the Operation Arrowhead expansion (only the company's logos existed at the time of the base game's launch).
The company's name is a deliberate mispelling of "Volga", which is the real name of the "GAZ Volga" executive car designed by the Russian automotive manufacturer "Gorkovsky avtomobilny zavod" ("Gorky Automobile Plant").
Within ArmA 2's localisation stringtable, all languages other than Russian consistently refer to the company by its in-universe name ("Vloha"). However, the Russian localisation for the GAZ car inconsistently uses the vehicle's real-world name instead of its fictitious Armaverse name ("Volga"/Russian: Волга).[10]

The Kremlin claimed that USMC forces were incapable of controlling terrorist organizations - namely NAPA - convincing the UN to rescind it's approval. Many feel the Russians would have invaded anyway and that the UN complied so as not to seem toothless should the Federation act unilaterally. Without UN backing, the US feel forced to abandon Chernarus to the Russians. After the attack on Moscow sympathy and support for this position is widespread, with global public opinion and many national governments supporting the move.
