The Winter Hat is a wearable hat used by several BLUFOR and INDFOR factions in ArmA 3. It was added with the release of the Global Mobilization - Cold War Germany Creator DLC.
Overview[]
A cold weather cap made out of wool, the Winter Hat is primarily used by West German/Danish SOF teams; specifically, operatives carrying either anti-armour launchers or marksman rifles. Fighters from various armed revolutionary groups are also known to wear this hat as well.
The Winter Hat has a weight of 10 "mass" units.[CfgWp 1] It does not provide the wearer with any protection to either ballistic projectiles or indirect explosions.

- The Winter Hat was originally a BLUFOR-exclusive hat until the release of Update 1.5, which had marksmen units of the (then-new) Revolutionaries INDFOR faction be equipped with the hat as well.[1]
