Wolkie is a German automotive manufacturer.[1]
Background[]
A German car maker, Wolkie is the manufacturer of the Rolf hatchback, a five-door compact family car.[2][3][4] In the American market, the Rolf is sold under a different name and is known as the Bunny.[1]
As late as 2009-2010, Rolf hatchbacks were still a common sight on the streets of some nations in the Green Sea region.[5][6]

Trivia[]
- Wolkie is a direct parody of the real-world (and also German) "Volkswagen" automotive company, which makes the "Golf Mk4" compact car that the in-game Hatchback is modelled after.
- The company made its debut into the Armaverse with the release of ArmA 2.
- Within ArmA 2's localisation stringtable, the Hatchback's Armoury Description for all languages other than Polish consistently refer to the company by its Armaverse name ("Wolkie"). However, the Polish translation inconsistently refers to the company by its real-world name instead of its fictitious in-universe name.[7]
