The Wool Hat is a wearable hat used by several BLUFOR and INDFOR factions in ArmA 3. It was added with the release of the Global Mobilization - Cold War Germany Creator DLC.
Overview[]
A simple knitted cap, the Wool Hat is mainly worn by members of West German and Danish special operations teams operating in cold weather environments, though some armed revolutionary groups also wear the hat.
It is available in two variants: the basic Wool Hat and a sub-variant that has a crewman's headset included. No matter the configuration, both Wool Hats have a weight of 10 "mass" units.[CfgWp 1][CfgWp 2] Neither version of the hat offers any protection against small arms projectiles or indirect explosions.

- Unlike its alternate counterpart (the Winter Hat), Wool Hats were not originally available on Global Mobilization's launch and were only added after the release of Update 1.2.[1]
- The Headset sub-variant was not added until the release of Update 1.5.[2]
- The Wool Hat was initially a BLUFOR-exclusive hat until the release of Update 1.5, whereupon some units of the new Revolutionaries INDFOR faction would be equipped with it as well.[2]
