Armed Assault Wiki

Worn Clothes are uniforms worn by civilians in ArmA 3.

Overview[]

This outfit consists of a bright blue-coloured shirt with faded white seams and dark blue pants, along with a small khaki pouch strapped to the wearer's waist. It is usually worn by fugitives, tramps and criminals on the run from law enforcement.

It has a weight of 30 "mass" units[CfgWp 1] and provides only 30 units of space for ammunition/items.[CfgWp 2] The outfit does not protect the wearer from small arms projectiles and explosives.

Trivia[]

The information below details unused, pre-release or removed content.
  • In the final version of ArmA 3, there is only one variant of the Worn Clothes outfit. However, there are actually multiple textures for the outfit which remain unused within the game files or have their config entries hidden from the Virtual Arsenal.
    • The texture used for the default blue shirt model (Texture name: c_cloth1_co.paa) has at least three other sub-variants available. With the exception of the c_cloth1_kabeiroi_co.paa texture which is used for the Guerilla Garment outfit, this includes:
      • Arma3-uniform-wornclothes-01

        Unused variants.

A "bandit" version with orange pants, a pale red-coloured camouflage pattern, and image of a black human skull/spine printed on both sides of the shirt (Texture name: c_cloth1_bandit_co.paa).
      • Two plain coloured shirts in either a bright yellow scheme with mud brown pants and green seams (Texture name: c_cloth1_v2_co.paa), or a bright orange shirt with dark green pants and teal seams (Texture name: c_cloth1_v3_co.paa).
    • There are also two config entries (Classnames: U_C_Poor_shorts_1, U_C_Poor_shorts_2) which simply reuse the default Commoner Clothes model.
      • Though they do not appear to have their own models, they most likely shared the same appearance with regular Worn Clothes but with shorts instead of full-length pants (based on their classnames).
    • Prior to the addition of the main campaign's third episode, the Scavenger Clothes outfit (Classnames: U_C_Scavenger_1, U_C_Scavenger_2) could also be found amongst deceased fugitives hiding in the mountain village of Oreokastro (accessible in the second episode's optional Scouting missions).
      • Appearance-wise, they were identical to the Worn Clothes outfit. However, it's not known if they would have had their own dedicated models at some point in development or were simply derivatives of the standard uniform with different textures applied.
